With the arrival of the arrival of the Aussie's coming together, it comes as no surprise that Australian football continues to be the most popular sport in our nation. In fact, the Aussies have been known to spend as much as $100,000 a year on club travel for their football players. And while some teams could do with changing up their strategy, they remain loyal to their very own traditions.

The AFL's most popular teams are Sydney Swans (12th in popularity) and Melbourne (second), followed by Port Adelaide (third) and West Coast (fourth). Of these, a combination of three clubs has seen the AFL's highest ratings in both 2014 and 2015: Hawthorn, Gold Coast and Geelong.
